Why do MSDS's indicate that adding water to sodium methoxide (sodium methylate) will cause a violent reaction? - msds for suave lotion
FS does not use water to clean a spill of sodium, which can lead to a backlash. Can someone explain this reaction?
Is there a difference whether it is a concentration of 25% in methanol?
